THAT'S NO MOON

Wasn't what I planned for the Friday post, but I decided to do it and it turned out way better than I expected, so I figured I would use this one instead of the planned one!
Also, note the X-Wing in the first picture...

Tsk Tsk, A Thursday Post?

I have not been posting, have? And then when I DO It's on a Thursday. My my, I need to catch up, eh?
Ah well. Tomorrow's the last day before Winter Vacation and we had kind of a testing week, as well as a band concert and things right before break. Busy week, but I should have some content up (Woohoo!) soon, as in maybe even tomorrow. In the meantime, go outside.
Just kidding, stay inside. It's cold outside. Bathe in the warmth of your monitor.
I'm also thinking about changing up the Logo/Favicon (The Favicon ((The "Icon" by the URL)) is the only place I really use the Logo anyways...) because it looks bad. We'll see how lazy I am when I remember it.
Here's a picture I whipped together really fastbecause I feel guilty that this post is so short.

5 Things You Need To Be Ready For The Hobbit

(In no specific order...)
 The Hobbit came out today!
Here are some things you should have.

1.The One Shirt - Shirt.Woot
Perfect attire for Second Breakfasts!

2."Gold-Plated Tungsten Carbide One Ring", AKA The One Ring - ThinkGeek
Just be sure not to drop it or anything.

3. "Furry Adventure Slippers", AKA Hobbit Feet - ThinkGeek
You might want to stay far away from volcanoes though, these are probably really flammable.
Relaxing with a pipe full

4. Hobbit Map of Middle Earth - ThinkGeek
Just in case you wander into a forest and get lost.
It happens.
(Or...)

5. "The Hobbit Deluxe Sting Sword" AKA Sting - ThinkGeek
You never know what might be lurking; you best be prepared.

And then you'll look something like this:

And everyone will be very jealous.

(Also, did you see the countdown?)

XKCD: Click And Drag Amazingness.

(Shut up, spell-check. I know amazingness isn't a word.)
Not much of a post today, but I just wanted to put this XKCD here.
http://xkcd.com/1110/
So this is probably the coolest XKCD ever.
First off, some insight.
XKCD has a thing where if you mouse over their comics, some little text comes up usually containing another joke inside the comic. (The only example I can think of is if you mouse over the new tab button in Google Chrome, it says "New Tab". I guess you could just go see what I mean by looking at the comic though. Oh well)
So when you mouse over the one above, you are prompted to "Click And Drag"
Upon doing so, you are gifted with a very wonderful thing:
It moves.
Woa.
Upon first inspection, it is a nice little  drag-around world. But after playing around with it for maybe 30-45 minutes, I realized that it is really, really BIG. REALLY BIG.
Here's the drag-around thing in just one really small picture:
See that little dot of red?
That's the amount of the picture you can see on the screen at a time.

Exactly.

Watch Times Square Live

So I stumbles across a link in a notes app I have for Google Chrome. I vaguely remember what it's about, but I put it there, right? So I click the link, and it takes me

here

I was going to try and figure out a way to embed it into this post but then it was all "LOL BTW THAT'S NOT ALLOWED" So I stopped, because I didn't want to go to jail.

It's a pretty cool thing though. I guess it makes sense, I mean, Times Square is kind of a popular place, right? It figures they would have cameras.

Subscribe Button Added!

While I was looking at my page views, and I realized it shows me my subscribers.
...And that I don't have any subscribers on this blog. Why is that? I don't even use my other blog. This one has way more views, too. Maybe the "Subscribe" button is messed up?
So I go to check it, and... I didn't have one. So I felt really stupid, and went ahead and added one. Only it isn't really a button.

You put your E-mail in, and it E-mails you everytime I upload a post (like this one). I put my E-mail in just to test it out, and it's pretty nice. It's a pre-scripted widget from Blogger (Therefore, by Google) so it isn't like I just copied and pasted some random code into an HTML widget. (Or is that a HTML widget?) from some random sight that will steal your E-mail and maybe your soul.
So I just figured I'd point out that it was there, and that I also feel incredibly stupid that I didn't put one there in the first place. So I'm sure that's cost my plenty of subs.

Oh well.

Video Games

This one didn't quite turn out the way it did in my head. Do me a favor and pretend that it's better than it is, OK?

Guess what YOU should do?

You should comment.
Down there.
It's isn't that hard!

And THEN, once you start, just keep commenting. Or  go back and comment on other posts. Or both!
We hit 2000 Pageviews the other day. So comment? As a present?

THIS is what happens when I have too much time on my hands...

<Before

                                After>

And then I had even more time on my hands...
The first bunny is the original, the second is a cowboy, the third is The Doctor, and the last one is a Fancy Bunny.
I just don't even know.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's also Veterans day, so enjoy this picture

The "Very x7 Long Post" Followup

So I posted this awhile ago, and my only explanation was

Got bored. Drew this. Hid things. Video games. Movies. Good luck. 'Nuff said.
You may have to zoom in a bit. Ctrl+Scrolling should do nicely.

And now that I look at it I guess it wasn't very clear, so I went ahead and am going to tell you what I hid.
I found the things that I hid from the top of the picture to the bottom, and the ones that were upside-down I flipped for you.
The numbers on the picture match the numbers before the explanation.
You're welcome.

1. The little blue thing is from Portal, specifically Portal 2, where you end up shooting a portal at the moon.

Here's a picture to the portal in-game

2. Hopefully you recognize this one.
It's the little Question Block from Mario.

If you didn't get this one straight away it's probably because of my horrid drawing.

3. This one is MjölnirThor's hammer.

Pretty self explanatory.

4. This one may not be recognizable to very many people, but it's the TARDIS, from the popular show called Doctor Who.

5. This one is a pickax from the PC (And now Xbox!) game Minecraft.

It is laying upside down.

6. This one's another Mario reference, and hopefully another one that you'll get.
It's the Warp Pipe.

7. This one is just a UFO.

Edit: Woops, I forgot one! There is also the house from up at the very top of the picture.

There's also the treasure chest next to Mjolnir, and the dinosaur bones, but those ones were super obvious and weren't really related to any video game or movie.
Oh well.

Goldfish Brains Are Weird

I realize I haven't posted anything in a long while, and that it's Saturday, but I was looking at some of my drafts and found this. Reading over it it's kind of weird, so I Copy+Pasted only the beginning. It's all like that though...

So have have you ever heard that the memory span of only 3 seconds? Twenty one strokes of a keyboard later, I find something else: The memory spawn is three months, not three seconds.
So if size of the brain was relative to the memory of a goldfish, then the the memory span of an average adult brain would be, on average, AT LEAST 3385 YEARS,BUT.
The lifespan of a goldfish (average, of course) is about 15 years. (I would have guessed less than a month based on my experiences.)
The average lifespan for a human is around 85+ years.
If the size of the brain  was relative to the lifespan of a goldfish, then the lifespan of  a human is...

And that's pretty much the gist of it.
                                              You can leave now.

Smith & Edwards

So, Over the weekend I went to Utah.
In Utah, there is a wonderful store called "Smith & Edwards".
They. Have. Everything.
There is a whole room dedicated to just ropes. Big ropes little ropes, red ropes, blue ropes, rainbow ropes, etc. I'll give you a little "tour" (Though it's more of me showing you things that I thought were cool).

So the first thing you see is a tank. There is a real gash dang tank outside the store. I'm not sure why. But HEY, TANKS ARE FUN.

There's this nice little aisle with all kinds of animals, including...
Dead animals

And
Fake animals.
(Or animals considered to be fake. Unicorns are totally real!)

There's also a huge... block of pins and thing's from the military.

Don't you know? It's rude to chop on tubs with machetes!

                                                              Lots of paint...

And tons and tons of candy.

What more could you really wan't?

Emu!

So while vacationing in Utah, I received these lovely pictures from my cousin:
...In an E-mail. She lives on a farm with goats, horses, etc, but I cannot figure out why they got Emus.
Here's a picture of one when it was a baby:     Photo: Our new babies :-)
They grew up really quickly. They're around 5 ft tall. For those of you who don't live in Liberia, Myanmar, and the United States of America, that's 1.524 Meters. They have two, a boy and a girl, which I named He-Mu and She-Mu, though we can't tell the difference.
They're actually quite friendly, and'll let you pet them and feed them and the like. I kind of want an Emu as a pet now.

Leaving For A While.

So no post yesterday or tomorrow. Have this picture instead.
I don't know if I'll have Wi-Fi, but probably not.

Photo: When I saw this, I thought to myself "Jodie would be the one I'd hear this from.......and I wouldn't really even be all that surprised."
EDIT: I do have Wi-Fi. Also, I made the picture smaller. The llama was much to large.

Fish Homework Week

Apologues for lack of content. Dr. Who Homework has been taking up lots of my time, but thats OK; Ive figured out how to put homework and blogging together.

DRAW FISH ON YOUR HOMEWORK!
Not just drawing, either. Need to write about an animal for english? Write of the wonders of fish! Need to write up a math equation for Math? f/i+s(h). Random doodling? Fish. Art class? Draw a fish. Comunications Class? Write of the Babel fish! I think you can see where Im going with this.
The point is to make teachers confused, so that when they compare notes at the great secret underground teachers organization (Ever wonder how teachers all know eachother?) they get very confused. "Why is everyone drawing fish?" they will wonder.
Also, it keeps me motivated. Fish are fun to draw!
Really. Go draw fish. Now.

Pencils

School starts Monday. I just hope I have enough pencils. Every day I put any pencils or pens I've found in a designated drawer. These are all of the ones I found last year.
